Constructed in 1987, Capitol Center stands 25 stories above Main Street in alternating bands of tinted glass and anodized panels affixed to a frame of reinforced concrete. A two-story glass-enclosed atrium extends the entire length of the south face and offers a beautiful view of the state house building and grounds.

Ms. Murray is the Property Manager for Capitol Center, a 460,000 SF Class A Office Building in the CBD of downtown Columbia. Capitol Center is also known as South Carolina’s tallest building. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and operations of the building, financial management and reporting, project management, contract negotiations, vendor management, as well as tenant relations and retention.
Prior to joining Hamilton in 2022, Lee Ann spent 4 years managing an 8-building, multi-market office portfolio consisting of 550,000 SF with approximately 70 tenants. Lee Ann began her real estate career as a Property Administrator with Cushman & Wakefield and later served as an Assistant Property Manager. During her 8 years in the industry, she has accumulated multiple awards for her properties and teams to include Energy Star Certifications, Midlands Green Business Awards, Green Small Business of the Year (2019), and Cushman & Wakefield’s “Highest Overall Tenant Satisfaction in the Carolinas” (2017). Lee Ann holds her South Carolina Real Estate License and is a CPM Candidate with the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
