Pinny Borenstein

Chief Financial Officer

Pinny Borenstein is a principal Founder and Partner of Hamilton EQ. He has been active in the commercial office space for over ten years, developing a niche expertise in financial analysis and commercial real estate transactions through the daily management of Hamilton EQ’s national portfolio of Class A office buildings.

His day-to-day responsibilities include cultivating investor relationships, as well as sourcing, vetting, and underwriting new deals. In addition to his role with Hamilton EQ, Pinny is a Director and Portfolio Manager of Hamilton Equity Partners, an affiliate of Hamilton EQ that invests in a range of property types, focusing on office and Healthcare properties.

Mr. Borenstein holds an MS in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Malkiel Svei

Chief Operating Officer

Malkiel Svei has over twenty years’ experience working on high level real estate transactions, and is a principal Founder and Partner of Hamilton EQ. His day-to-day responsibilities include cultivating broker and tenant relationships, overseeing leasing and all operations throughout Hamilton’s nationwide portfolio of over 1.6 million square feet, as well as sourcing, vetting, and underwriting new deals. Malkiel has recruited all of the employees of Hamilton EQ and Hamilton EQ Management, a rapidly-expanding management firm; in the process creating a strong company culture.

Prior to his role with Hamilton EQ, Malkiel spent over ten years as an asset manager for GF Investments as well as managing American Landmark Properties operations in the Northeast. He has a proven track record for increasing occupancy and repositioning assets.

Mr. Svei holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Baruch College in New York City.

Yorkmont Plaza

Located in the Airport submarket, Yorkmont Plaza is just off Yorkmont Road and minutes from major interstates, downtown Charlotte, South End, and the airport.
